“I have always tried to take care of my customers.” With this philosophy and the actions to back it up, it is no wonder many of Rovendale’s customers have turned into friends. Owner Donny Rovenolt knows them well. He has climbed their silos, fixed their tractors, and helped them feed their cows. Donny has also had the blessing of watching their families grow and farms in central Pennsylvania prosper.
Donny’s parents, Donald and Peggy Rovenolt, had a dairy farm and started Rovendale Supply in 1972. Donny joined the family business full-time in 1979 and learned its ins and outs. “I know every inch of the business,” he said. Then, in 1992, Donny and his wife, Brenda, opened Rovendale Ag and Barn. They still have many of the same lines (Jamesway and Berg) as the original supply store carried, but adding the New Holland tractor line to their inventory has been a real blessing. “I wanted a good name that had a good reputation. New Holland was a natural choice. I know that we and our customers can count on this product. It is easy to sell something that I know works!”
